What is the New Instagram Post Size?
There are some major changes for Instagram post size. Are you up-to-date?
Did Instagram change their default post size?
Yes, Instagram did change their default dimensions for posts. According to their Creator account, the new default for feed posts is no longer a square (1080×1080). To align with stories and reels, posts are now in portrait mode with an aspect ratio of 4:5 and 1080×1350 pixels.
What about the carousel size since it is also a post?
This also applies to the carousel function.
What about stories and reels?
Stories and reels remain the same with the 9:16 aspect ratio and 1080×1920 pixels.
